I dont see how there is not a law in place to protect renters in suitations with pest control. As soon as we moved into our apartment 2 days later we started seeing roaches. We have never experienced them before so we started taking pictures and looking it up on the internet. We bought home traps and sprays and told the leasing office. We have lived here 6 months now and not once have been roach free! They sprayed one time but now not only do we still have them but we see them in the hall way and stairs now. Its not right to pay thousands of dollars to live somewhere and not feel comfortable in your home. When i open the door first thing i do is flip on lights fast and try to catch one. When i go to sit or sleep im constantly on look out for them. It has giving me anxiety!! We asked nieghbors about it and she told us the people before us had them and a person down the hall. This kind of thing needs to be let known to knew renters before signing a lease so we can make a sound desicion. If appartments need to protect themselfs they should have to keep a log of how many times they have sprayed and if the situation is tooken care of. THOUSANDS of dollars not to feel comfortable should be illegal.
