Boycott IKEA locations in British Columbia, and world-wide

CUSTOMERS!  What is happening at IKEA?

IKEA locked out its employees in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada on May 13, 2013 to force major concessions on its workers.

IKEA makes billions of dollars a year in profits, is privately owned by the Kamprad family, one of the richest families in the world -- yet they still want more!

The IKEA workers are not seeking outrageous demands, they just want to keep what they had -- the same wage structure, the same benefits package and basically the same contract.

Since this labour dispute started, IDEA has used replacement workers.  IDEA has also hired a private security firm to video, and listening devices to intimidate is once valued workers.

Is this the kind of DEMOCRACY we now live in? Is this the kind of DEMOCRACY we want to have?

Is this how you would want to be treated by your employer?

Decide the issue for yourself:

If you value being an engaged CITIZEN than a passive CONSUMER,  BOYCOTT IKEA and all of their products.

If you value PEOPLE ahead of SHOPPING and THINGS, BOYCOTT IKEA at all of their locations, in-store and on-line.
