Boycott Crowne Plaza Hotel for their Negligence in the Death of Kenneka Jenkins

Kenneka Jenkins was at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare hotel partying with friends and went missing. She was later found dead in what was supposed to be an unused freezer only accessible to hotel staff.

The hotel has not been cooperative with Kenneka's family. The night she went missing they would not search the hotel for her. It took a day and a half for them to take her family's claims seriously. They refused to search the hotel without a missing persons report and even made her mother wait 4 hours to see the body once it was discovered.

This hotel is negligent. She went missing at 4 AM. Her mother was at the hotel by 5 AM. If they would have looked for her when her mother first asked them to at 5 o'clock that morning Kenneka may still be alive today.

They should not have had an unsecured freezer nor an area that is supposed to be under construction that is accessible to guests? Demand the boycott of Crowne Plaza Hotels for this negligence. We can't get the hotel shut down. They have too much money behind them. But we can mess with their revenue. We will not spend our money with this hotel. We will take our business elsewhere. Her family deserves better. We as a people deserve better.

There are too many questions: Who had access to this area of the hotel but an employee? Many questions arise as to how she would've gotten access to the freezer and how she was able to close her self in the freezer. Why did they say they had video footage of her walking into the freezer but the family was not shown such footage? Why did they have this activist who is widely known for working with the police and FBI deliver the news of this supposed footage that doesn't even exist? Help us demand answers and hold the hotel accountable.
