Today is July 26,2016 and i'd like to address a few concepts about a game thats been a family favorite of mine DDO Eberron Unlimited. These being a lack of Dev support, outdated software and servers, a dying community due to cash grab and a pettition to see if we can have any impact and or change established due to many loyal Fans.
I'd Love to propose a few step plan, which may sound redundant when dealing with major corporations but its worth considering.
1. Communication and establishing a larger/more motivated Dev team.
2. Trying to work out the financial situation and possibly merge the servers of DDO.
3. Work on the gaming engine and its outdated code.
4. Trying to advertise for an absolutely amazing game
5. Finally, gather Funds and donations to help push this game in the right Direction.
Goals above are set and achievable through the community. BUT i know they are extremely optimistic and many may find them to long winded for the games dwindling survival. For all those that love this game please comment below and leave your suggestions with what needs changed, whats wrong in your eyes and how can this game be repaired ? I'd love opinions from the common player and anyone in a coding or business profession on what you see. I'll Update and gather the general concensus by reading comments below.
In simple this petition is to gather and hopefully unite a community and look to assemble and then formulate a plan that's concrete, precise and accurate. The goals above are obviously loose and uninformed as of today but that is to change. Once formulated, we petition our changes fully and with suggestions and support so DDO isn't just alone in their advances. Hopefully embezzlement isn't an issue.
