Ask Carol's Boutique to Stop Selling Fur!

Carol's Boutique, a locally owned business in Savannah, GA currently has a partnership with Barnes Fur of Macon, GA.

We are urging Carol's Boutique to discontinue the sale of animal fur, as this is a cruel and outdated fashion statement; one that many leading designers have already chosen to discontinue.

-The use of animal fur is extremely inhumane, and the animals used for these products are bred and killed for this sole purpose.

-Animals used for fur are kept in small, crowded wire cages that are hard to move in, and cut their feet.

-Animals used for fur often are bred to have more skin, because their wrinkles will produce more fur, making them more profitable. It is extremely uncomfortable and often times they can't even open their eyes.

-Animals used for fur are often skinned alive, or killed by anal electrocution, or gassing, to avoid their blood getting on the fur. It is a cruel and painful death.

-We do not need animals for their fur. There are alternatives that are humane and less expensive.

Carol's Boutique has many other fine and fashionable clothing options without needing to cause animal suffering and death for a good look or a warm coat. By supporting Carol's Boutique while they still sell fur, you are in turn supporting the production of fur, and companies like Barnes Fur. We ask that you help us take action for a positive change by not shopping at Carol's until they let go of this cruel fashion statement and also by signing this petition.
