HELP AFRICA RECYCLE!

This petition is a call on all Africans and African governments to make recycling of waste a core part of their environmental policies and laws. 
Additionally all Africans should be encouraged to cut down on waste to reduce the overall effects of poor waste management and poor refuse disposal on the environment and in the long term, on the Earth. Africa needs to measure up to it's own share of reducing it's collective Carbon foot - print. 
Recycling is only one, albeit important part of the process of protecting the Earth from the effects of Man's activities and excesses. Rather than throwing away, burning or burying recyclable waste people can be urged to separate them and take them to recycle plants. 
The area of Government expertise will be: 
 * To educate people and provide incentives to ensure people make recycling a part of everyday life 
* To create the recycle plants and to keep them functional. Recycling will also create income and jobs for many of Africa's unemployed people.
