Stop HEDCOR clearing operations and Help Save Tudaya falls

We demand to stop the clearing operation of HEDCOR power plant -- The province of Davao del Sur is considered to be one of the food bowls in Southern Mindanao Region. It also abounds in rich natural resources because of the organic and metallic minerals found in its soil. Priceless above all amongst the material riches of the province is its rich culture and heritage. The ethno-linguistic tribes of Bagobos, Tagabawa, Blaans, Tagacaolos, Manobos, and Klagans are the dominant tribes in the province and are the only remaining tangible links to the colorful, historical past of Davao del Sur. If projects and corporate interests will encroach on peoples  lives, undermine the culture and destroy the environment, God's given gift will be useless. What we need is a genuine project and development for the people of Davao del Sur --- not to destroy mother nature.
