KEEP DRIVING AGE

In the best interest of most active teens, the Florida driving age should be kept at 16, or possibly lowered, the reason that it is being changed is because there was a study that drivers aged 16 were more likely to get in an accident than drivers aged 18-19. The most popular belief to this result is that the brain has not matured enough, in the words of some "Its like pouring a gallon of liquid into a pint sized container" however its not the age of the brain that is the problem, its the experience driving on their own. Therefor if they raise the driving age, yes there will be a difference in the results, but not in the amount of accidents, however the age that they occur at will be one year higher.
