Oil spill disaster in nigeria

In this tropical mangrove forest "black gold" was struck and ironically brought hope  but in truth actually brought destruction. The once teeming marine ecosystem in now essenially a mixture of oil and water. Local communities are deprived of their once abundant supply of fish and acid rain makes crowing  crops impossible. Help the impoverished peoples clean up their home by demanding Shell clean up its mess.
As an oil company I respect you more than many for your aim at efficient gas. But  I have recently read of the damage that your oil rigs have done to the communities and ecosystems of the Niger Delta. I am not quite sure how people are able to live due to the acid rain which destroys crops and oil that destroys the marine ecosystems. What I propose if you take the take the time to read this letter, is to renovate your rigs to reduce leaks and fund clean-up efforts. By doing this jobs will be created for the native people and fish may once again be sufficient to support the peoples of the Niger Delta. Not only is the ecosystem is at risk, but the native peoples and your reputation. I do not want to take up too much of your time but please take note of my concerns if you have read this.
