Save Mexico's "Selva Lacandona"

Mexico's "Selva Lacandona" represents only 0.16% of the territory, but it holds 50% of mexican birds, 50% of mexican day butterflies, and 30% of mexican mammals. This rainforest got its name from Lacandones, indigenous people living there.

In the heart of the "Selva Lacandona" lies the protected Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve. Saving this area will help the country's climate as well as animals that can only be found in this jungle.

The intention of this petition is for the world to know this natural beauty, and help protect Mexico's biggest water and energy resources.
