American Electric Power and Allegheny Energy want to put a larger power line through Hampshire and County WV.(www.pathtransmission.com). Of particular concern are those routes that will impact The Cacapon River, the surrounding countryside and how it will affect many historic sites:The Cacapon River is George Washington's "Other River." This new 765-kilovolt line will pollute the Cacapon, destroy heritage forests, farms and communities. Demand an EIS (Environmental Impact Statement) and No new path for PATH.
