Tell American Catholics that Fossil Fuel investments are unacceptable!!!

In June of this year, Pope Francis released his encyclical. This was a call for Catholics worldwide to safeguard the environment and battle climate change. Obviously he believes this issue is urgent and demands attention. Unfortunately the U.S. Confernce of Catholic Bishops and other American Catholic organizations are not on board.
Many of the largest Catholic groups in this nation continue to invest millions in energy comanies, from large oil producers to hydraulic fracturing companies. The archdioces of Chicago for example has more than $100 million invested in various fossil fuel related endevours. Many othere diocese across the country appear to engage in similar investment strategies.
Please join me in letting American Catholics know that this practice is not acceptable. Again, Pope Francis believes that this is an urgent matter that affects everyone. The USCCB should too.
