REFUNDS FOR STRIKE-AFFECTED STUDENTS!

Lecturers are planning to strike which will affect students, not only monetarily, as they will not receive approximately £650 of their paid for tuition, but also could affect their future as the lack of lectures/seminars, especially for those in their final year, could affect their degree, which would have lifelong implications for earning power. We ask that the Government make it law for universities to issue refunds when students don't receive lessons as a result of strikes. Furthermore, to allow a review, on a case by case basis, for compensation by the Universities to the students where a direct link between lack of lectures due to strike and the student's eventual degree can be proven.
