We need to act now about the large hole in the O-zone layer

As you all probably know, there is a large hole in the Ozone layer over the top of Antartica, and we need to do something NOW! Over the past 30 years humans have been making progress in slowing down the expansion of the hole, this is done by curbing certain chemicals. The atmospheric ozone absorbs ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun, mostly harmful UVB-type rays. These rays increase the risk of cancer and cataracts. This is as well as damage to the planet and marine ecosystems. This is the reason why we need to stop polluting, and start doing something about the rapidly depleting hole in the ozone layer.
