Stop logging in Redwood State Parks!

The Redwoods State Parks are not protected from logging. I propose banning commercial logging in California State Parks. I have witnessed firsthand on a trip to the Redwoods last year, the large amount of logging trucks transporting the beautiful Redwood logs along the roads in the State Parks. Many of these trees are over 300 feet tall and have taken thousands of years to grow and may never be replaced. These trees also provide a wonderful habitat for a numerous amount of plants and animals. In addition, Coast Redwoods store more carbon dioxide than any other forest in the world! Please goin me in petitioning the Governor of California, Jerry Brown, to help protect this national treasure.
