stop southdown school being called roundhill primary school!

Many years the school has been know as southdown infant and junior school, but now it's going primary they want to chamge the name to roundhill primary? For years going back to my grandparents parents era southdown school has always been called southdown school, why change it? Why change history? Why end an era? As parents we strongly believe that the vote was fixed as over half the childrens parents do not want a name change and we would like southdown school to listen to us and the goveners to keeping the childrens that attend its family tradition and leave it as southdown?!
