Time for a gender neutral Mr. Men/Little Misses character now!

In our world, where biology is not destiny, it's time for true representation in children's books.

Over a third of Generation Z'ers (aged around 10-20), do not believe gender defines a person. The goal of my book, Mx. Questioning is to introduce a gender neutral character to children and adults alike in a manner that is approachable and understandable.

The gender neutral title Mx., pronounced (mix), introduces a vocabulary a whole new generation is adopting.

In using the classic Mr. Men/Little Misses series, we can make a statement about the gender (r)evolution that is taking place and show the youth that do define themselves as gender neutral, that they are equally as important and respected.

As a primary school teacher, I know the power literature has to introduce topics, themes and new ideas into the classroom. My book would spark a conversation on questioning modern conventions (such as pink for girls, blue for boys).

It's time to teach our young minds that it is only through questioning that we progress.

With your support, we can try and encourage Mr.Men to add Mx. Questioning to their family.
