Demand for the institution of major-based curriculum

We, the students of the public education system feel as if the current school board curriculum is failing us. We continue to learn the same things every year. For example, we have been taught the Holocaust, WW1, The Civil Rights Movement and etc for years on end… We feel as though we are not being prepared to enter the “real world.” We have no idea how to manage a bank account or stick to a budget. We don't really know much about what goes into our possible careers. What will the Holocaust teach us about money or college? We are concerned about our futures. And I know that major-based curriculum will fix that. The major-based curriculum institution is a plan to let students explore possible careers before having to make a final decision in college. This plan will boost graduation rates and lower the percentage of college drop out rates.
