Save The Women's Resources & Research Library

The Joy Fergoda Library is a long-standing university institution of the Women's Resources and Research Center, serving as a safe space and a resource for all members of the UC Davis community. With over 12,000 volumes specifically focused on women and gender and its intersections with race, sexuality, culture, ethnicity, class, ability, age and more, the WRRC Library offers research help, course materials on reserve, assistance with papers, public use wireless Internet and computers, a photocopier and printer, and a safe study/hangout space. Vice Provost of Undergraduate Studies Patricia Turner has funded and advocated for our Library since 1999, but reorganization of Undergraduate Studies leaves WRRC Library funding unknown after this current fiscal year. It is crucial that the University knows that the WRRC Library is integral to the Women's Resources & Research Center and to the larger UC Davis campus. Please sign this petition to show your support for continued funding of this unique resource, the WRRC Library.
