Demand an end to Dog fouling in Holyhead

After a horrible walk to school where we encountered 13 different examples of pet fouling, and after countless communications with IOACC regarding the unsanitary walk to school for many children at St Mary's Catholic Primary School and Thomas Ellis (along Longford Road and Maeshyfryd and Moreton Road),we urge IOACC councillors to make provisions for a specially designated Dog Warden/Environmental Health operative, who can make this area, and others in Holyhead, safe and police the already existing fines policy. As part of a commitment to clean streets, we also want to see the installation of dog waste bins along Longford Road & Maeshyfryd. Children on this route are often having to move to the road side of the pavement, or on occasion, onto the road to avoid the mess, making their journey both hazardous and unhealthy. Please make the streets clean for our school children!

Thanks for signing this petition. Let's hope we can keep our community clean for our school children.
