Kids should be exposed to things that promote proper mental development such as TV show that focus on the importance of education, work, critical thinking and such.
Here is a list of why I decided to start a petition to close Monster high
Discrimination against women - They have to look pefect, a pimple is a disaster
Young girls looking sexy - The characters and dolls have very shorts transparent skirts
Removable parts - The dolls have removable body (exchangable) parts, kids will associate this with plastic surgery.
Make up - The characters are covered with makeup, girls are brainwashed to think that is what makes them beautiful.
Education - The TV show does not promote education, looks and relationships are big topics in the show.
Body image - the characters are very thin, kids are bombared enough with images telling them that you have to be thin to be considered beautufil.
If you would like the children who will one day be our leaders to be surrounded by better TV shows unlike Monster high, pese sign this petition. Thank you
