Stop killing the geese population in Orchard Park, NY

Geese are harmless to people. They are actually great for the environment, they naturally control weed and pest populations in any area they are living in. Killing these beautiful creatures just because their feces is an inconvenience is a crime against mother nature. Rather than oiling their eggs or killing them in June (as the town board described doing), why not try relocating them if they are such an inconvenience? In Missouri, they relocated some Canada geese to Oklahoma, 26% of them flew back. If reducing population is the objective here, 26% flying back is better than 100% being susceptible to death from the tactics that the Orchard Park town board describes using in their geese culling operations.
