Tell Kinder Morgan: Oil Spills Are NOT "Good for the Economy!"

In order to expand its pipeline, Kinder Morgan needs approval from the National Energy Board.  Their approach? To claim that pipeline oil spills are good for the economy because they create jobs.

The logic here is clearly flawed.  While pipeline oil spills may create jobs, they also damage our precious ecosystem, and poison animals.  Oil spills can also affect human health, damage property, and negatively affect tourism and fishing industries.

Saying oil spills is good for the economy is clearly a statement made based on the corporation's own desire for financial gain.  Tell the National Energy Board we don't agree with their statement that oil spills are beneficial - and that they should reject this pipeline expansion immediately!
