Demand the Eradication of Japanese Knotweed from Camberwell

Described by The Environmental Agency as the "UK 's most aggressive and destructive invasive plant" it is spreading from the houses at Dagmar Road, initially at number 20 and 22, and now onto 28 Graces Road. More houses will be affected, or should we say, 'infected'! This noxious plant doesn't belong in our local eco-system and moreover, is damaging to foundations, growing through concrete, drainage pipes and patios.

Metropolitan Housing Association, the landlord of the property affected by this issue, has failed to address the situation despite years of campaign by the owner of the property at 28 Graces Road. Furthermore, they failed to respond to Southwark Environmental Services and the office of Cllr Mark Williams.

Please support our petition, as this will affect many more homeowners if left unresolved.

Thank you
