Help ban shark fin soup in the United States

Each year over 70,000,000sharks are killed to support a billion dollar industry.This bowl in particular is very toxic because the fins contain mercury and other heavy metals.This may cause cancer and in fact people believe this bowl will cure cancer but there is no scientific evedence to prove it.The bowl has been around for centries but only in the last two decades has it boomed in popularity.the fin is tasteless and only adds texture to bowl flavored with chicken or pork broth.This is causing a demise in shark populations around the globe.The fisherman catch the sharks,hack off the fins(most of the time still alive,)and dump the body overboard to bleed to death or get ripped to shreds by another shark.That is a waste of 95% of shark!!!!!!!!!All this for a bowl of soup!!!!
