Halt Cutting of Live Oak(300 to 400yr old tree)in Kennedy Park - Wilmington, NC 28405

We city residents of Wilmington, NC demand that:
1.) Immediately stop work order for the cutting of a huge trunk belonging to the Historic Live Oak located in the corner of Kennedy Park @ 21st and Plaza Dr.,
2.) Call for a formal public hearing on the cutting of the Live Oak
Tree in Kennedy Park (Chestnut Heights) so that we residents can attend to voice our concerns and devise alternative solutions.
3.) Any cutting action for the Kennedy Park Live Oak Tree be delayed a minimum of 30 days after the aforssaid public hearing is held.
