Keep Electronics Technology at John D. Rockefeller Career Center

Hancock County Board of Education is planning to take away Electronics Technology from JDRCC. They are already taking our classroom from the upstairs for their OWN offices and pushing us into a smaller classroom in the downstairs with half of our needed equipment.
They have been trying for years to take away the class, but they claim that "the mission of Hancock County Schools is to afford all students the academic and social skills necessary to become productive members of society."
Us students and our teacher enjoy the class as we learn through hands on (building circuits, soldering, etc.) and lectures to do those things for the future. We do not have the chance to learn those kinds of things in the high school. Another claim from the Board of Education is that Hancock County is "Where Students Dreams are Nutured."
How can you make such false claims when you are taking away from those who want to have careers that go into the Electronics Technology Field.

Our goal is the keep the class and our amazing teacher who has taught us all well. We would greatly appreciate it.
