Urge the Irish Government to Crack-Down on the Cruel Blood 'Sport' of Badger Baiting

In Ireland, there are reports that badgers are being dragged from their setts for the cruel blood sport of baiting, according to a report in the Irish Independent.

Scientists tracking badgers via GPS are reported to be concerned animals are being kidnapped for blood sports after a badger they were studying was discovered dead dozens of kilometres away from its sett.

To add weight to the scientist's concerns, the Department of Agriculture have photographic evidence of a masked man attempting to capture a badger from a sett.

Badger-baiting has been illegal in Ireland for almost 200 years - there are now concerns there has been a resurgence.

Badgers do not deserve to die in such a cruel way to satisfy unkind humans! Will you join me in urging the Irish Government in cracking down on badger baiting?
