Stop Wasting Plastic Bags!

In our SHS cafeteria, apples are sold in individual plastic bags with twist ties. In the past, they have been washed and offered for sale in bins. An SHS student or faculty member could easily purchase an apple for lunch by picking one out of the bin and paying for it. Wrapping each individual apple in a plastic bag is wasteful, costly, and time-consuming. It would be an easy fix to sell the apples as they have been in the past: washed and in bins for selection. We could save the environment and produce less waste every day by doing this one small task. Please vote to stop wasting plastic bags so that we may prevent this problem from growing larger than it already is. Thank you!
