Demand That Lockout Shouldn't Start Until 7:30

North Miami Senior High School Starts at 7:20 and if you are one minute late you have to wait in a line to get a detention slip to class and the line has you waiting there for at least 30 minutes. My concern is that almost everyday students are missing 30+ minutes of education time for being a minute late. Students do not control traffic neither do they drive to school. But I think if you gave the students a 10 minute time period they would be able to make it to class even if they were stuck in traffic and the teachers don't even take attendance until 7:45 but they do start teaching around 7:35. Students walk in around 8:00 sometimes 8:30 just because they got here at school at 7:21
