Ban Fracking NOW in New Mexico

Fracking uses millions of gallons of water and toxic chemicals to crack open underground rock formations, forcing deposits of gas and oil trapped deep in the earth, to move up to the surface - or elsewhere.
It has been linked to air and water pollution, unsafe drinking water, fish kills, earthquakes, mysterious animal deaths, underground explosions due to methane buildup, industrial disasters, health issues.
In a state that is seismic sensitive, in a continual drought, and where sunshine and wind are abundant, why allow fracking when sustainable alternative energy is so abundant?
