Sarawak is part of the Borneo Island, reknown for its wide area of forest. However, the Sarawak state government is planning to build 12 dams which will flooding wide area of forest although Sarawak and Malaysia has an over-supply of electricity.

Building those dams will destroy large area of rainforest. 12 dams will flooded an area roughly the size of everglades. Reducing the size of rainforest will further worsen the global warming, not to mention destroying such a large area of rainforest. Many flora and fauna will lose their habitat, including those critically endangered species such as False Gharial.

So I hope that I can get as much help as I can to stop this Dam Project. Thank you for your concern and kidnness.
