NSW GOVERNMENT — STOP TRANSPORT-FOR-NSW FROM USING CARCINOGENIC POISON AROUND RAILWAY STATIONS

Glycosphate, known commercially as Roundup, has been repeatedly proven to be a potentially-lethal carcinogen. Multiple countries have banned the pesticide for its cancer-causing properties and legal action is on-going.

In January 2024, in Philadelphia…"a jury returned a unanimous verdict, finding that Roundup was a cancer-causing product, that Monsanto was negligent and that Monsanto failed to warn about the dangers of Roundup".

So, why are we being exposed to cancer-risk every time we approach a railway station? Animals live in these areas, too, including Australian native animals, who live on foliage and waterways that can be poisoned by Roundup. I witnessed my friend's cat die of stomach cancer, after four years' exposure to Roundup surrounding the local train station.

Why should we be exposed to a deadly toxin every time we catch a train?!
