Demand an end to the mismanagement of wastewater in Colombia

The Environmental Performance Index (EPI), is presented every two years by Yale and Columbia which has become the point of reference that measures the work every nation has done with their natural resources. Colombia fell from position 9 to position 85 due to the lower scores obtained in wastewater manegement. Scored just 4 points out of 100.

Most of these waters are discharged into rivers without a proper treatment. This means that the water that is already contaminated is contaminating the rivers and the animals that live there. It is alarming because besides, this water may be used later to irrigate crops. Water is vital and is a necessity and we are contaminating one of the most precious natural resources thanks to the mismanagemente of wastewater. 

We need and demand a new way of managing wastewater in order to reduce its contamination and the contamination of water that isn't even polluted. Also we are demanding for our health and the planet, this is unacceptable.
