Protect the Deodor Cedar Tree, the granddaddy of trees in the San Fernando Valley!

The area called Walnut Acres in the West San Fernando Valley is being denuded of its trees! Trees that are not sick or in danger of falling down. It is most often caused by new construction and its ruining the neighborhood. This tree is well over 80 years old. Real estate agents are encouraging this behavior when selling these houses strictly for their lot sizes. Potential buyers need to be made aware that they cannot remove this tree from the property. They can build around it. The Oak is already protected by the state of California and now this tree needs to be protected too!l Trees in this area are being destroyed at an alarming rate. The Deodor Cedar is already protected in La Cañada/Flintridge and we would like it protected here.
