Say No To Columbus Day
It is high time this holiday be terminated as it celebrates a day of an evil racist man who terrorized Native Americans and encouraged those to follow him to do the same. I am just asking that the government remove that day from the calander out of respect and to make up for all the horrors they themselves have inflicted on Native Americans.
Dear Decision Makers,
We the undersigned feel that there is a need to remove Columbus Day from the Federal calander. There is stron evidence to show this man didn't discover America as someone else was already here. Also this was an evil man who stated that Native Americans were "good slaves". He brought disease, crime and other problems to the people who were already here.
We don't feel there is justification for a holiday to honor this evil man and others like him who happened to follow in his footsteps. We humbly ask that you remove this holiday.
