Stop the dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan

After recently viewing the documentary, "The Cove," I decided to create a petition in hopes of stopping the annual slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan.  This slaughter takes place every year in order to kill around 23,000 dolphins to sell as mislabeled "whale meat." The public of Japan is mostly unaware of the dolphins being killed, especially since the act is hidden from public view.  No one is allowed to see as the workers inhumanely spear and kill the dolphins as the ocean turns a bright crimson red.  The surviving dolphins are sold to the entertainment industry for performances at marine-life entertainment shows that exploit the animals in stressful conditions leading often to sickness/death.
