Komodo National Park under heavy threat by illegal bomb fishing

Komodo National Park is a world heritage site that is under great threat at the moment by illegal fishing. Fishermen have been using home made bombs to kill fish which in turn blasts coral reefs apart and ends the flow of an eco system. A few of the Komodo National Parks valued diving locations have very recently been blasted beyond recognition.National Parks throughout the world are becoming like natures museums of what a healthy environment used to be like. Without proper enforcement and patrols our National Parks may be no longer worth visiting.

We the undersigned would like to express our deepest concerns regarding illegal fishing practices within Komodo National Park.

The Komodo National park is one of Indonesia's most valued treasures that attracts thousands of tourists each year, many of whom go for snorkeling and scuba diving. At the moment the threat level has been raised once more due to bomb fishing on a few of Komodo National Parks most famous diving locations. Without action Indonesia stands to loose a great asset to it's tourism.

Please help and act so Komodo National Park continues to have a future as a tourism destination before its too late!

Please take a moment to think about what is happening to our natural environment.
