Save 9-Year-Old Anthony Gonzales' Future

Anthony Gonzalez is a nine year old student at Gates Elementary School. Of Anthony's four years at Gates, he has been of honorable standing. He has two older siblings that also attended Gates through the years. His entire family has studied at District 131 educational institutions. Over the Super Bowl weekend, Anthony was given a toy gun and put it in his backpack. He forgot to take it out, and another student saw it at school. The other student proceeded to tell the administration about the toy. The administrators of Gates Elementary School packed all of Anthony's belongings from his desk and handed them to his mother. The mother of Anthony was unaware of the toy gun, and now has to stress over finding a school for Anthony to attend, worry about his future as far as college applications, jobs, and even extracurricular eligibility. Juvenile delinquents don't serve a life-time sentence for something they committed as a juvenile because of the incomplete development of their brains. Therefore, Anthony should not have such an academically detrimental punishment. Help appeal the expulsion of Anthony with your signature as a representation of your support.
