Eliminate the Lottery System at UM

                 Dear Students, Friends, RHO:
           I am writing on behalf of all the hard working students of the University of Miami's upper classmen. I am concerned for the many students, like myself, from places too far away from the University of Miami to commute and who cannot afford off campus housing. Although I am aware that it may only be a few students who get denied for housing, I, for one am not willing to take the chance that I will be one of those people. I am economically dependent on on campus housing, as are many who have certified loans that go straight to the University and/or do not have transportation. Please, I beseech all to understand the concerns of the undersigned. As kind as the people of RHO may be, I am certain they are not going to be able to pay my rent. Please hear us and guarantee housing for all. I am sure there are ways, as students were put up in hotels while waiting for University Village.
