Stop the death of poetry, the death of culture

We all have the Genie in us. We don't need a Renaissance to bring poetry back in our lives. People have started believing that reading poetry is a sheer waste of time. I believe poetry is not only enlightening but also cathartic in a world where Sin is rampant and Evil is commonplace. Schools should possess a curriculum where great world poetry plays an important role. Parents complain their kids can't express or write well. All they need is better reading and Poetry {especially Classic world poetry} Poetry can play a significant role in nourishing our brains.
I am 11 and I love John Milton and W.B. Yeats. Not because I was born with it, but because I was introduced to wonderful poetry at a very early age. I want to be a Scientist but Poetry is also my passion.

Please help me in this journey.

The Lake Isle of Innisfree: By William Butler Yeats
I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree, And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made: Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee; And live alone in the bee-loud glade. And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow, Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings; There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow, And evening full of the linnet's wings. I will arise and go now, for always night and day I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore; While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey, I hear it in the deep heart's core.
