Support Multi-Use Trails in Allegheny National Forest, Pennsylvania

The Allegheny National Forest is proposing to convert approximately 12-1/2 miles of the 34-mile Tracy Ridge Hiking Trail System as a shared use for hiking and biking. Bradford District Ranger Rich Hatfield said the proposal responds to the need to provide more recreational opportunities to bicyclists, which is becoming a growing activity in northwestern Pennsylvania and on the forest. Until now this has been foot-use only due to lobbying of hiker-only groups to maintain their privileged status. At this time they oppose multi-use trails and the project needs your support.

Let the Allegheny National Forest know that small local groups do not own land set aside for everyone. Sign the petition to support multi-use trails!
