Corporal punishment has no place in schools.

I have a friend, who was telling me about how she received corporal punishment in middle school. The reason I am concerned is because 19 states still allow corporal punishment. I believe that corporal punishment is very unethical and children should not be punished this way. It is very cruel and I wouldn't want my children to be punished by using corporal punishment. Corporal punishment can give teachers and other authority figures a way to let out anger that can possibly be a stem from an outside influence. I believe this is child abuse and a end should be put to corporal punishment.
