Deforestation is the complete removal of trees without letting them grow back or planting new trees in their place, this happens much more often than we are aware of. For Example, the Cathedral Grove On Vancouver Island once was home to massive trees but since the 20th century they have been cut down these trees to make Logging roads and other industrial ventures. With the increase of industry and agriculture in Canada, trees are being cut down faster than ever In British Columbia. Deforestation is a real problem and it not only affects the abundant wildlife that live in British Columbia but it affects us too.
