Stop Wine Growers from Killing the Redwoods

Though sawdust is a flavor note detected in some wines, NOBODY wants that sawdust to come from actual redwoods!  Artesa Vineyards and Winery is about to cut 154 acres of old growth redwoods to make way for MORE grapes in Sonoma County, CA.

Many of us who live in Sonoma County, CA came here for both the redwoods and the wine. The climate is amazing for wine- in part because of our unique landscape. Redwoods only grow in a small region of the world ranging from Northern California to Southern Oregon. They are an important part of our ecosystem.

Cutting down redwoods for the express purpose of drinking wine is unthinkable. Stop this attrocity!
