Whatcom Community College needs Mandarin Chinese

Whatcom Community College currently offers American Sign Language, ESL, Spanish, French, German and Japanese through their World Language department. They do not offer Chinese.

With your signature on this petition, it is hoped that Whatcom Community College will add Chinese to their World Language department. In addition to Whatcom Community College students benefiting from this curriculum, our local high school students will be eligible to take Chinese through Running Start.

Wendy Hagin is a local, Washington State Certificated Mandarin Chinese teacher with a Masters in Adult and Higher Education and an interest in teaching at college level.
