Students Against the UIC "merger"

We, the students of The John Marshall Law School, having been offered NO voice in regards to the proposed merger with UIC in the Dean's effort to create the first and "hopefully only" Chicago public law school, are against destroying our 120 year history of tradition and legacy. We all have our various reasons for not wanting this merger and have been unswayed by the "town hall meetings". We respectfully ask The Board of Directors to vote against this merger and to allow the John Marshall name and organization to stand; to allow the legacy to continue; to allow students to attend the same school their parents did; to allow us to graduate from the school we chose to attend; and to make us proud to be a part of The John Marshall Law School history.
