Ban E17 & Spice Girls from the Christmas song playlist

As the inevitable hand full of Christmas songs which flood the month of December are perpetuated from every radio station across the land, I find myself each year getting irritated at the pointless few songs that had weaselled their way into the official Christmas playlist, namely: East 17's Stay another day and Spice Girls 2 become 1.
The fact they have nothing at all to do with the time of year makes me wonder how this has happened, not withstanding the fact that they are both truly awful songs in the first instance.

I am formally petitioning to have them removed from the authorised playlist immediately.
