Petition to Stop The Texas Budget Cuts to Education and Services to Children

We, the undersigned, ask the State of Texas not to meet the budget shortfall through cuts to public education, healthcare for children, or child abuse prevention services. We ask you to spend the Rainy Day Fund (which automatically replenishes), and also draw down federal dollars, expand existing revenue sources, create new ones, and eliminate tax loopholes.
