Congress: It's Time for Paid Parental Leave

In this country, we give a lot of lip service to being pro-family. Yet, it's more difficult and financially infeasible to become a parent in this country than in any other developed country.

But we can decide to change that. We can ask Congress to mandate paid parental leave. Sign this petition to tell Congress you support families and especially women in becoming parents.

We are the boss of Congress, not the other way around. We just need to convince them that we will not continue to elect them if they don't actually do our bidding.

Giving individuals guaranteed paid leave from work when they become parents would allow families to truly grow stronger. It also prevents parents from falling behind at work or being forced to live in poverty or on some sort of welfare.

It's time we demand that our government truly does something pro-family and implements guaranteed paid
family leave.
